It's summertime!... ish. The Bay Area is still cool and that is the way I love it! The 8th Annual Interdisciplinary Writers Lab recently concluded with two San Francisco readings and the launch of our online anthology, Chicken Skin and Impossible Trees. I'm also partway through Tara Sophia Mohr's six-month Playing Big e-course.

I will be doing a daily writing project from July-September, writing for 10-15 minutes each day on short prompts. To join me, sign up for the newsletter and you will receive a new prompt each day from 7/17-9/18. The newsletter is only for these prompts and you will not be added to any other mailing list; there are no strings attached and you may unsubscribe at any time.

As always, the best way to stay up-to-date with my doings is to visit my blog, which I update almost every weekday, and my flickr, which gets updated a few times a month.

My Tisha sketchbook is touring the country with the Sketchbook Project. Remaining cities on the tour include Chicago (July 14-17) and Winter Park, FL (July 29-31).

I'm no longer spending as much time on crafting, so I can focus on writing and drawing.
